Ready for discovery
0 / 8
Question 1 of 8
Who is the named decision maker on your side?
Discovery moves quickly when one person can answer scope, budget and timeline questions in the room. If the decision lives in a committee, the project will move at the speed of the committee. Tell us who that person is and how they prefer to work.
Question 2 of 8
What is the operational pain we are solving?
Strong projects start with a specific operational pain that someone can describe in two sentences without using a technology word. Vague pains produce vague scopes. If the pain is hard to put in writing it is worth a short conversation before any engagement.
Question 3 of 8
What does success look like in the next ninety days?
A measurable definition of success protects both sides. It might be a launch date, a defect rate, a response time or a piece of headcount that can be redirected. The clearer the definition, the easier it is to design the right phase of work.
Question 4 of 8
Which existing systems must this work with?
Integrations are usually the largest single source of unexpected effort. Bring a short list of the systems we will need to read from or write to, the names of the people who own each one and a note on whether the documentation is current.
Question 5 of 8
What is your rough budget band?
Honest budget bands save time on both sides. We publish indicative bands on the pricing page so the conversation can start from a real number. If the number is sensitive, we can sign a mutual non disclosure before discovery starts.
Question 6 of 8
What is your hosting and data residency position?
United Kingdom hosting is the default. Where a regulator or buyer requires a specific region, we want to know that up front so the architectural choices can be made cleanly. If the position is not yet decided, that is also useful information.
Question 7 of 8
Who will own the codebase after handover?
Some clients run the system themselves after launch. Others stay on a retainer with us. Both are fine. We need to know which it is so the documentation, training and access patterns can be shaped for the right operator.
Question 8 of 8
What is the deadline that actually matters?
There are often two deadlines: the one written in the brief and the one that really matters. The second is usually a board update, a regulatory date, a procurement window or a launch event. The second is the one we plan around.
Frequently asked questions
The process should feel precise from the first conversation. These are the questions we are asked most often before a project begins.
We review the brief, confirm whether we are the right fit and reply within one working day. If the project looks aligned, we set up a short discovery call and outline the next steps, timing and expected scope before any commitment.
Smaller engagements can usually begin within one to two weeks. Larger builds depend on discovery, technical requirements and current scheduling, but we will give you a realistic start date and phased delivery plan early in the process.
Yes. We regularly plug into existing product, design and engineering teams. That can mean leading delivery directly, supporting an in house team or coordinating with external partners when a project needs shared ownership.
Yes, provided the handover is technically viable. We start with a focused audit of the current stack, architecture and product priorities so we can identify risks early and define the cleanest path forward.
Yes. We can structure post launch support around monitoring, iteration and roadmap delivery rather than ad hoc fixes. The right model depends on how active the product will be once it is live.
Not sure where to start?

Every enquiry receives a first reply within one working day. A discovery call is typically scheduled within five working days. A follow up summary is sent within two working days of the call.
A rough budget range helps us scope the conversation, but it is not required. The pricing page provides example ranges to help you calibrate before getting in touch.
A senior engineer reads and responds to every enquiry. There is no automated qualification gate, no sales team and no account manager between you and the people who will do the work.
Yes. Send your brief to Info@Armdia.uk and we will respond within one working day. The form is an alternative, not a requirement.
A written summary is sent within two working days of the call. Where appropriate, a written proposal with scope, timeline, price, assumptions and exclusions follows within ten working days.
The initial discovery call is free. The paid discovery phase begins when both sides agree to move forward with a written scope and fixed price. We do not charge for introductory conversations.
